Drives........

Lately, we (Bree & I) have been taking drives during some of her naps. Sometimes, when Bree is fighting a nap..... I can jump in the car & boom.... she's asleep. So, then I just drive around, listen to music, and enjoy some quite time. A couple of days ago, I enjoyed watching the most gorgeous sunset while Miss Bree had her last nap. Luckily, I rarely leave my house without my camera....... so, I tried to snap a quick picture of the beautiful water colored sky before me.

I know, I know............ I'm obsessed with quotes! Oh well!

Stats

Miss Bree had her 9 month wellness Doctor's visit on Monday, and here are her stats. Actually, here are all her stats since birth. I know this isn't very interesting info for most people...... but I have forgotten to post any of her stats in the past. I can't believe how big she is getting!!! It's going sooo fast!

Oh, and she also got her 2nd shot ever. I will post more about vaccines later, but basically we have decided to go with a very modified vaccine schedule. Our pediatrician is pretty alternative & a big believer in more holistic natural medicine, which is exactly what I wanted for Bree. Dr. Bain goes with what she calls the "1980's vaccine schedule". Anyway, I will go into more depth later if any one is interested, but Bree did awesome!! She actually cried more when they held her down to measure her, than she did getting the shot. WhooooHooooo for chubby baby legs!! :)

9 Months Old!!

9 months old! I can not ...can not believe it! 9 months ago today, you my little Bree, pushed your way into this great big world and changed Mommy's life forever. You have such a sweet, bright, and gentle spirit that lights up my life. You my bright star, are my perfect match. I couldn't ask for or have wanted anyone other than you. I love you baby girl. You hold in your sticky little hands, Mommy's heart.... now & always!
You have done sooo much this past month! I feel like you have morphed into a toddler almost. You seem like such a big girl all of a sudden. It feels as if you went from itty bitty baby to big girl over night! Your little personality is really starting to come out. You are so funny and silly. It seems like you have Mommy & Daddy's same sense of humor. You even laughed at one of the dogs when they fell down the other day. Hahaha! You are a "watcher". It seems like you really take a moment to check people out to figure out what you think of them. You seem very intuitive to me. You are loving & sharing. You actually share your pacifier with Mommy now & put it in my mouth. Haha!
- You learned to crawl this month! (3-7-09) Although, you don't much care for it. You much rather hold Mommy's hands & walk around.
- You have tried lots of "real" food now (even though you don't have any teeth yet). You especially like guacamole, rice, pasta, and YOGURT!
- You try to play with the doggies now. You even try and share your food with Cooper while in your high-chair.
- You sleep through the night now!!!!! Let me repeat..... you sleep through the night now!!! WoooHooooo!! (That helps Mommy soooo much).
- You have 1-2 naps a day now, and a long bath with Mommy every night.
- You feed yourself puffs, yogurt melts, and all the other tiny toddler foods. You do such a good job, and you always look so proud that you can do it all by yourself!
- You love walks, outings, and car rides (if it is the right time of the day).
- You still like to take up residency on Mommy's hip, if your not holding my hands & walking around.
- You give hugs & snuggles now! (I LOVE IT) And you also get kind of bashful at times, which is just the cutest!
I love you sweet heart!

She did it, she did it, she did it........

.............our little Bree CRAWLED!!!! I can't believe what a big girl she is already! Last night, Bree put it all together & crawled about 2 feet right in front of Nick. Nick called me in there, and she did it again! What a smart girl! :) I'll post a picture soon!
